First Step (Documentation): Develop the Quality Manual of School in line with ISO 9001:2008 needs. Establish the School Quality policy and objective. Set the role and responsibility of each personal within the institute. Deliver the awareness training to each personal on ISO 9001 needs, Quality policy & objective, procedure, process, criteria Teaching Plan, Organization chart of School, School Layout and Numerous Plan, .Conduct the Internal Audit and Management review meeting on the implemented QMS Management System.

Second Step (Identification of School Procedure): Generally school procedure are Administering services, Applicants Procedure, Allocating spaces for classrooms, laboratories, workshops, libraries, and other similar spaces, Allocating teaching loads, Assessing performance of Student, Designing and developing validation results of curricula or syllabus, Developing course catalogues, Developing course material, Hiring of administrative and teaching staff, Marketing and employment procedure, Providing security, safety and civil protection services, Selecting and enrolling learners.

Third Step (ISO Certification Procedure): Normally certification body are sending the Application form for get the customer information related to the school (e.g., Total Effective No. of Personnel, Work activity, Site/ Location, address, Contact detail with Email ID).

From this information they will calculate the No. of MD will be audited and after that they will send the quotation, after approval of Quotation from your side they will talk to you for date of auditing fort the stage 1 audit.

Generally in stage audit auditors are auditing the preparedness for the stage 2 audit , in stage 1 audit they are auditing the documentation part where you already make the Manual, Process, Internal audit, MRM and organization chart and procedure implementation as discussed in above.

After Reference by the auditor for the stage 1 audit, now you can go for the stage 2 audit

Now Certification body again they will communicate with you for the stage 2 audit

Similarly In stage 2 audit auditor is audited the procedure activity of the school, if auditor are raised the any observation /NC then take the corrective and preventive action of the NC/ Observation.

Fourth Step (Technical Review / Certification decision): After the audit auditor is prepared the report and submit the report for the Technical review and Technical reviewer are recommended for the certification. After the commercial finalization will get the certificate within 10 working days.

Fifth Step (Certification Cost): The ISO cost of certification is not fixed it vary from organization to organization and certification body in common practice the cost of certification shall be derived considering, Number of employee (Full time/ Part time/ Sub contracted), Number of Sites or Branch of School Education is covered under the certification, number of working shift.

Sixth Step (Selection of Certification Body): There are many Certification body in India – but it is advised to select those certification body – who have the accreditation from accreditation body – who is a member of IAF. The second parameter for selection of ISO certification body is the cost of certification and if possible the service of certification body is available to in your area/city.
